Nathan Wood is an interiors and design-led Photographer / filmmaker working throughout the UK and Internationally.

 

For Nathan, photographing a space or design starts with understanding it. Before a camera comes out, he takes time to learn what the designer set out to achieve, the mood, the materials and the details that matter most. Then he uses light to bring that intention, depth and life to the space.

 

Light is at the heart of everything he does. He reads how daylight moves through a room across the day, chooses the moment it falls best and shapes, balances and supplements it where needed so that every image feels natural and considered rather than lit. 

 

He has worked alongside leading studios including Days & Years, Studio Jo Cowen and has been commissioned by global brands such as Blank Street and David Lloyd Group.

 

Alongside stills, Nathan brings a documentary filmmaker's sensibility to design-focused film using light and movement to reveal a space the way it was intended to be experienced.

 

The result is imagery that doesn't just show a space, you feel and understand it.
